One More Update on my Brother

The day before yesterday he had a really good day. Yesterday that changed a bit.

He had started to get his appetite back, and seemed to be getting back to normal. But yesterday he completely lost his appetite. And the few times he did eat he threw up. The doctor told us to call if he vomited consistently for a 24 hour period. He's thrown up 3-5 times in the past 24 hours, but it's not been anything major, just bile for the most part.

He's up today and he's been taking showers. He threw up a little about an hour ago, but not much. He's able to watch TV with the sound low and is even laughing and talking. His hearing is gradually getting better in his left ear, so things are looking good there so far.

Not much else to report. We've limited visitors for yesterday and today to family only, and sparingly with them so he can get some rest. Yesterday we had family over from around 1pm until 10 at night, so that was a bit much. My aunt and two cousins are coming over again today, but they won't stay as long. I have to use their phone, which is the main reason they're coming over at all.

If anything else noteworthy happens I'll post about it, but things should be getting quiet on the subject as he recovers. I hope that's the case because anything I would report would probably be bad news save a miraculous healing or something.

Again, thanks to everyone who has sent their thoughts, prayers and well wishes our way via cards, balloons, blog posts, emails, or whatever other form or response was given. My family and I thank you. God bless!
