My Brother's Doing Well So Far

Today my brother got out of the house for the first time since coming home. He went out to eat and seemed to handle it pretty well. The other day he got it in his head to be stubborn and went storming up the stairs. He didn't want to be babied anymore, so there he went.

His hearing seemed to be getting better, but the past couple of days we've had to repeat everything a couple of times, so that concerns me. But aside from that he's been doing great. No more throwing up, the headaches have lessened to where he can play video games and have lights on... and yell when he's upset about something. :)

There are some things food wise he just doesn't have a taste for anymore oddly enough. But it's understandable since one of those items is what he regurgitated all over his hair during the accident, which wasn't washed out for four days.

Tomorrow the ultimate test. My mom and brother are going with my brother's best friend and his mother school shopping... to the mall! And not just any mall, but the biggest and busiest mall on the busiest side of town in the second largest city in Kentucky. Granted, that's nothing compared to your malls in the larger cities like Chicago, Atlanta, New York or most of California, but it's still a good size and a LOT of people when just days ago he stressed out if more than two people were around at once.

But since he's starting school this coming Wednesday he needs to get used to it.

So that's what's going on. I may give an update tomorrow after the mall experience, then definitely after the first day of school. Then I'll probably stay quiet until the next doctor's appointment if all goes well.
