Indy-Pendant #50

The new column is up!

This week in my 50th column I do something a little different. I incorporated my usual reviews with some PR I have been getting and added in some news bytes, in what turned out to be a cool looking column I thought.

Featured are press releases on Virgin Comics, The Sire, The Lone and Level Sands, and Robert Roach.

Also included are a review of Mouse Guard #2, a preview-review of
Alecto "Song Book", and news bytes on Super Real, the Small Press Idol contest and my website.

Click the post title to read the column!

dude that cover is incredible! and you know the best part? i didn't peg it immediately as an Alex Ross piece. it has a lot more feeling and energy than Ross usually has. he seems to go for more of the iconic money pose than the action type stuff. i for one love the change!

I totally agree! I wouldn't have even recognized it as an Alex Ross if I hadn't known it was. I hope he continues with those kinds of covers. Much different than his usual stuff, which is very good, but as you said lacks the energy this piece has.
